  3. A hit list is a listing consisting of the first 70 characters (or title) of
  4. each found record and the number of the database in which the hit appears.
  5. You may change this single line (terse) display to a double line (verbose)
  6. display by selecting the @0E@M[@0F@o@0E@]de@0B@ option.

  8. The verbose hit list style includes the hit's title, the name of the database
  9. containing the hit, the date of the file and the size of the file in
  10. kilobytes. Cheetah's hit list header displays the number of hits located and
  11. the hit list page number. The following options become available:

  14. Views the full text associated with the displayed title.

  16. @0E@[@0F@M@0E@] Mark@0B@
  17. Mark records for download or edit previously marked records.  While you may
  18. download a record that has not been viewed, this is not recommended. It may
  19. result in unnecessarily long download times and unwanted text files.

  22. Toggles the hit list display between verbose and terse styles.

  42. When a record has been marked, an asterisk (@0C@*@0B@) appears next to its number and
  43. the title will be displayed in red if you have color capability.

  45. To unmark a record, select @0E@[@0F@M@0E@] Mark@0B@ and enter @0E@E@0B@ to edit the marked record
  46. list. Select @0E@[@0F@R@0E@] Remove@0B@ and enter the number of the record to deselect.
